HairAI suggests haircuts from photos you choose to share. This page explains what we collect, why, and how long we keep it. We wrote it in plain language for teens 13 to 19.
What we collect
Your sign-in details (name and email from your login provider), your age confirmation, your city, state and country, your style preferences and the haircut you want if you tell us.
If you tap "Use my location", your device shares an approximate position (rounded to about 1 km) with OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to look up your city. We do not receive or store that position; we only keep the city, state and country that you confirm.
The photos you upload (front, left, right and back) and the results we create from them: your face shape, hair type and length estimates, your top haircut recommendations and the preview pictures.
Why we use it
We use your photos and answers only to analyse your face and hair, rank haircuts, make previews, and suggest barbers near you. We do not sell your information and we do not show advertising based on your photos.
Who can see your photos
Your photos are stored privately and are only shown to you when you are signed in. They are processed by our own analysis services and by our cloud and sign-in providers, who handle data for us under their own security terms.
How long we keep it
Photo sessions you start but never finish are deleted automatically after 7 days. Finished sessions and recommendations stay in your account so you can come back to them.
You can delete one set of photos and everything made from it on your dashboard, or delete everything we keep about you (photos, preview pictures, analyses, recommendations, your answers and your account) under Settings, Privacy and data. Deleting is permanent. If you cannot sign in, email us and we will remove it for you.
Your choices and your age
HairAI is for people aged 13 to 19. You confirm your age before you can upload photos. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian before you share photos.
